Sitting Here Thinking

by Halston Mather   May 22, 2005

Sitting here thinking
Of what has really changed
And I can't think of anything
In fact. It's all been replayed

Over and over again
This never-ending clip
This is going to be my last
My one and final trip

I can't take anymore
Of the betraying and mistrust
And the women who walk
Continuously in lust

Even myself I hate
With all of my lying
And I constantly think about
What it'd be like if I was dying

That one last breath
Slowly coming out
And never staying in
A world that left me out

I want to do it
I want to die
But I can't do it myself
I've already tried

To no avail
Not even blacking out
So I'm an empty body
Just wondering about

I'm in the middle of God
I'm not Hot and I'm not Cold
He must really hate this
It must be getting really old

I don't blame him
If he has turned his back
I have been nothing but a burden
Some to lack

I don't know what else to say
Or even to think
I am just ready
For one last blink

To end my life
Which I miserably live
And give up this life
That nothing to give.
