Royal Love

by Taylor   May 23, 2005

I used to be perfect,
I admit that it's true,
I used to be flawless,
But now I love you.

I was popular and pretty,
People looked up to me,
But then I feel in love with you,
And it's easy for them to see.

Now I don't have poise,
I stutter when I speak,
It seems I can never find the words,
Forever I tend to seek.

My confidence vanishes,
When you walk into the room,
I simply fall to pieces,
You can sweep me with a broom.

I was the queen bee,
Of the entire school,
It was my kingdom of followers,
That I thought I'd always rule.

But you came along
And what I thought wasn't true,
I don't rule anymore,
But I wanna rule you.

At least be mine,
You made me give up so much,
Now what I want
Is simply your touch.

I gave up my crown,
UN willingly,
Now all I ask,
Is will you love me?
