Death Fairy

A death fairy
Visited me tonight
It told me of a world
Full of fright
It showed me the portals
Of hell and back
Showed me the truth
While I laid flat on my back
It waved its magic wand
And told me to believe
Told me to close my eyes
Forced me to dream

I saw innocent people
Slaughtered by a madman
I saw children raped and gagged
By their granddad
I saw an unborn child
Torn to shreds

I saw a teenage mother
Crawled in fetal position
Sobbing, "Why bother, I'm only going to cause more trouble."

I saw a beautiful woman
Beat and bruised
Her own husband
Telling her she's used
I
saw teacher and students
Fearing for their lives
As they walk through metal detectors
They looked like little bees
Single formation into their hives

I saw a much in love girl
Walk in to find her love
On top of her bestfriend
I saw her confront him
And him say it's a lie
"Your just being stupid,"
He said as he walked by

The fairy finally let me wake up
It let me take it all in
It looked at me and said
Don't cry, it's not going to change anything

It flew away
And disappeared
I turned around
And felt so weird

I turned to the TV
And realized
It was no fairy
It was no dream
This is the world
Full of it's misery
