To Live Unwanted

What has happened to me
NO happiness, all just empty space
I don't know what I strive for
With wasted breaths I can't replace

Why try when it's always the same
Failure is just attracted to me
I can ignore the wants and dreams
And be that person you hate to see

When I leave, I hope you know
I tried my hardest just for you
And changed my ways, my life
Everything then was so new

I couldn't stand being like that
You didn't have to stay
But I hoped and prayed
that you would anyway

Now that you're gone
I want life to be the same
The realization that you're not coming back
To you the feelings were just a game

If only there was a solution
to end my failure and pain
But living everyday, all alone
Is leaving me hopeless with nothing to gain
