i have nothing left but my pride

today should be the best day of my life
but instead I'm smiling fake smiles

my father walks into the room

we walk outside of the church

everyone stands up
today is the day

soon were in front of the priest
i look at my father
and try to tell him that I'm going to marry a beast

the priest begins the ceremony
you look into my eyes
but i know the love is phony

they land on my best friend

at that moment the ceremony was going to end

just as the priest said,

i let go of your hand and began to speak
with every word my courage began to increase

i began to run out of the church
but then i stopped right in front of my best friend
i threw my bouquet at her face
there was no need to pretend
