If Tommorow Starts Without Me

My friend Shaely wrote this poem, so please comment or rate it for her

If tommorow starts without me,
with me eyes closed so I can't see,
your beautiful face no more,
just remember the times we had before,
the fun and jokes we had,
and don't be sad,
because an angel came and picked up a key
you standing and smiling before you knew
I was gone and started life anew,
then I finally made it home to my Father in an amazing place called heaven
with one Jesus, not seven
so please don't cry
because this is my good bye,
to you
and I promise that I will be waiting at he gates of heaven for you,

So, if tommorow starts without me,
I forgive you for all of the things you shouldn't of done,
and I thank you for all of the times we had fun,
Don't cry because I'm finally home where I should be,
Remember you are always in my heart
Even though we are far apart

  • wow, that's very powerful. I like the structure aswell as it seems rather irregular but it all firs together. I really like the line 'if tomorrow starts without me' it sounds very sad and mysterious at the same time. i hope this was not based on a real occurence, if it was, i am deeply sorry. however the poem is very good and deserves its 5 rating. I'll agree!
