The Radiant Pair

This is for David
Your comments matter!!

The sun captures his masculine beauty
It shines down and glistens them with glory.
Behold his eyes are radiant as the sea.
They tell God's creations entire story.

They open like a spring blooming flower.
And close like the clouds devouring the sky.
Behind them holds such a glorious power.
And their sweetness has a sense of shy.

A nights shinning star,
Is nothing to compare.
Because these are by far,
Something incredibly rare.

With the sun gleaming down each ray,
And looking into these capturing eyes,
I realized after all these years today.
I have no reason to adore the night skies.
