Scary Night

Now the house is empty
And she has what she needs
She’s planed it so carefully
She’s Ready to complete this evil deed

Laid out some plastic
Wrote her last good byes
Filled the tub with cold water
And held back her cries

Placed everything perfectly
Took the phone off the hook
Then walked around the house
To take one final look

she walked into the bathroom
And slowly locked the door
her body begins to shake
As her clothes drop to the floor

she lights a few candles
Staring deep into the fire
she thinks she knows what she’s doing
she thinks this is her greatest desire

she grabs the full bottle
And pour the pills into her hand
She quickly swallows her sanity
And hopes they understand

her feet touch the icy water
And she lays down her head for eternal sleep
Thoughts pass by, memories sink in
And she tries her hardest not to weep

Grab hold of the blade, see it shine
And she carefully slit her wrist
One cut for everyone who hurt her
One cut for everyone who made her do this

She watched the water as it turned
A beautifully deep shade of red
she suddenly remembers everyone she loves
And everything that was ever said

she remembered how many people loved her
And how she would be missed
she suddenly feels all the pain
And cries as she stares at her wrists

she changed her mind so fast
And tried to erase what she’s done
By purging the pills and cleaning the mess
Little did she know what had already begun

The bathroom is now spotless
And her cuts are perfectly fine
I went to bed that night
Feeling her pain that was mine
