~~Don't let go~~

Please don't let go..
When times grow old...
And if you leave ...
She will cry...

Ask to be laid down...
And die....
I stood there as she cried...
As they took her away to the manic hospital...

She started to cut...
And would not stop...
She would cut every night...

She was alway passing out....
Always been took to the nurse office...
I miss her now...

I can't tell you now...
The tears of the makeup that she apply..
Everyday....
Black...

And every night it would trickle down her face...
She would take the knife and cut herself deep...
As she weeps...

She a goodbye note to her family...
In her own blood...
I would tell her every night...
Please don't let go...

Don't let go to the one you love...
He loves you too much....
You can't die...
All she would do was just shake her head...
No he never loved me...
She would push me out of the room...
She stepped in to her doom...

The underworld was ready to take her...
To wrap itself around her like a snake....

I leaned against the door...
Wishing ....
Hoping...
This is not happening...
I cry as I know what is happening...

I pound on the door...
No answer....
I break down the door...
To find her dead...
She is in the corner of her room..

Blood covers her hands....
And her black Slipknot shirt....
In her had was the note...
That she wrote in her own blood...

You told me not to go..
But I had too...
So Goodbye..
Goodbye..

I fall to my knee..
As i morn over someone close to me....

I knew this person very well..
Now that she dead...
I do dread..
Over what happened...
I love her...
Like a sister..
Now she is dead...
I cry...

I mumble the words now...
DON'T LET GO....

    .. that makes me sad.. im sry u had to be there when ur friend died i to had afriend who killed himself and right when he died he said i love u. its really hard to let go of that moment.. when all of the time stands still.. good job on the poem and thnx for commenting

    I'm sorry about what happened. Everyone needs to realize that someone in this life loves them...because there's always someone who does. You never should let go and when things get tough, embrace a friend, if not your family. I always say that there's no relationship better and more resilient than a friendship. Keep your head up, this was an excellent and very moving poem.
