How Life Is

by Shantell   May 27, 2005

Walking down the hallways. Legs swinging. Feeling free. Looking into classrooms trying to see who I can see, thinking no one can beat me. Legs moving fast as I'm filled with excitement. Feeling rising and rising. Anxiousness is in heightened. Going down the steps. I feel as if I can fly. I hit a bump, now I'm flying down the steps. All the sudden there's a chair? Now my face is spread all over the stairs. Body burned. Pride hurt. Jump up real fast to see if anyone seen, cause people can be real mean. Try da play it off. Get up and dust myself off. Shake it off. Cause people will start talkin. Fix myself up and just keep on walkin.
