Looks Can Be Deceiving

Every night she would cry a million tears
because no one was around to calm her fears
inside she felt cold and alone
her parents were always out, never home
on the outside she looked like an ordinary girl
but they didn't know she soon was to end her world
she used to be so bright and smart
then her grades began falling and her heart fell apart
everyday her father would rape her
her mother beat her until everything was a blur
she always asked herself what had she done?
why did she deserve this? why was she the one?
why was she the one to have to be beaten and to be raped
she wanted to kill herself and to escape
but she just couldn't do it..until now
she had found a way to do it somehow...
suddenly the school bell begins to ring
she looks up and gathers all her things
today is the day that she would take her life
end it all with a gun, rope or knife
everyone runs to-wards their classes
she walks with them, but then she passes
she runs into the bathroom
finds a cubicle and begins her doom
she opens her school bag and brings out a knife
the countdown begins to end her life
she puts down the knife and thinks of a better way
a better way to end her miserable day
she gets out the rope and attaches it to the pipe
makes a circle, puts her head inside it and ends her life
a girl in her class enters the bathroom
little did she know the room was filled with gloom
she sees the knife on the toilet floor
she walks slowly and opens the door
she screams from the sight of the dangling girl
its too much and she begins to hurl
the teachers run in and find what she saw
they saw the girl who just couldn't take it no more
everyone said she pretended so well it was believing
but they should no better because looks can be deceiving
