Wilting Life

by Alex   May 29, 2005

Death as a virus
Feeding on sins, hatred, and loss
Endured pain inside us
All beauty's lost its gloss
Oh, patriot of death
Dark angels arrows raining
Eating our very flesh
Eating our hearts lamenting
A dove and olive tree
Brings peace on cursed land
Where darkness takes all glee
And turns all hope to sand
Our fathers have been lost
Peace is but a burden
Faith is but a curse
And life is but absurd then
It is a merry tune
Addictive but yet humble
Our very lives well sewn
But now will rip and crumble
Thats life oh fellow brother
Enjoy it while you can
For later you death will smother
This virus affecting every man
