Evil Chicken

by Eden   May 29, 2005

Hard to believe this cursed thing...
For just a moment...I thought it as nothing.
This stupid beast that I should come to fear...
Is coming for me...I shed but a tear.
Please do not laugh...I know it's ridiculous...
Something so little...this idea is ludicrous...
WHo would have ever thought this little beast
Would be possessed by an evil spirit to feast?

I saw it one day, not believing the myth...
Saw it pecking the ground it was with
Do not mock what I felt from its eyes...
Eyes of pure evil and rotting lies
It saw my stunned face and cackled at me...
Oh, how I just wanted to flee.
It hopped towards me, it's beak hawk-hawking
I just stood there dumbly gawking.
I could not believe beast as a threat...
The mere thought of it was laughable at best...

But come it did, it chased me around...
Feathery wings tripped me to the ground.
Pecked at my arms and then at my head
Pecking just wanting me to be dead.

This cursed chicken...this vile thing...
The evil thing I thought was nothing...
You laugh at me now...but I know the truth...
My dead body is now my proof.

Eyes pecked out by such a mean beast...
On my heart this thing feasts...
You laugh at this...but it was hurting me
Now I feel nothing...I cannot be.

Evil Chicken, what have you done?
Why have you covered up my sun?
Evil Chicken, why pick on me?
Because I laughed at you...oh...now I see.

**Don't ask. I was in a weird mood...yeah.**
