Die Away

by Mat   May 30, 2005

Tried to pluck the rose
But only got pricked by the thorn
For admiration
The reply is scorn

Bridge:
And all you left me with
Was self-disgust
Now all that I can love
Is the dirt and dust

Chorus:
So now all there is to do
Is die away, die away.
And even though I say I'm fine
I'm crying every day.

Why do you deny me?
Locked up in the masquerade
I sit here waiting,
Slowly going insane.

Bridge:
And all you left me with
Was self-disgust
Now all that I can love
Is the dirt and dust

Chorus:
So now all there is to do
Is die away, die away.
And even though I say I'm fine
I'm crying every day.

The rose burns
A lovely crimson hue
Like the passion
That I gave to you
The rose burns
A lovely crimson hue
Like the passion
That I gave to you

Chorus (x3)
