Deep in your mind
Where there is no light
Hides the monster
You can not fight

Made of everything you hate
And all thats gone wrong
You can not win
Because it is to strong

It causes chaos
Total confusion it does raise
Makes you unable to think
And sets your thoughts ablaze

It brings out your anguish
Makes depression a place to dwell
And how you really feel
No one can tell

Your eyes are so bright
And your smile so real
They don't see your wounds
That never seem to heal

They don't get it
What you need is a friend
But everyone you know
Goes away in the end

No on understands
They don't see what you hide
You know there is no point in life
When your already dead inside

But still you go on in life
Forcing yourself through each day
Your eternally in the shadows
And there you will forever stay
