Hiding

You cannot see
although you try
.. you'll never find the pain she hides

the mask she wears
the face she holds
a simple smile
a dark death toll

a desperate laugh
her face she hides
her eyes tell all
the pain
the lies

confusion
the answers she can't
seem to find
her mind
her heart
together entwined

and although you think
you know whats best
