Hidden Secrets

by Ann Stareyes   Jun 2, 2005

Secrets that we hide away
And store deep inside
They can pain our hearts
And devastate our mind.

Some happy, some sad
Some we wish we could forget
Some bring us to tears
And some we truly regret.

Some secrets we'd love to tell
Some would bring us shame
Some we wish we could erase
Then we wouldn't tote the blame.
