You Revoke Me

by Eden   Jun 4, 2005

Put down my sight...
Your so-called right.
I love you...but you never thought
Of the blood and pain I never brought.
Now you hold the trust of death...
...You're breathing the essence of life's dying breath.
My Light shone forth into the world...
...But my glorious shelter you hurled.
Splendor was yours to have and to hold...
...If only you'd listened to what you were told.
Give me the dust of your past life you led...
...And I will make for you a rose-bed.
Take my hand, I will shelter thee...
...All you'll ever need is to love me.
Follow me...you know this is truth...
Follow me...like you used to in youth.
Look to the cross and find answer there...
...Journey so hard...yet my love I'll not spare.
Road is so long...your feet are so bloody...
...The pebbles are rough and the darkness is muddy.
But, my Word stands true, whatever the cost...
...I will help you regain all you lost.
Everything you needed, I have it right here.
All that you wanted...just gave you a tear.
So please see my love...a single ray...
...Of sunshine to light just one more day.
