So many emotions
so hard to control
my heart says yes
as my mind screams no

but I'm so afraid

just like the many other times.

when i look at you
tears flood my eyes
thinking of the times
when all you said were lies.

so many times
my heart slowly began to fall apart
but you always found a way
to make things better day by day.
