Rekindling the past

by Amy Jo   Jun 5, 2005

He liked her
She liked a guy
He was here
She was shy
A circle of love
No one results good
Push and no shove
Not the right mood
He wanted her
She wanted someone
He was there
She was on the phone
He never gave up
She never looked back
They both grew up
bags begin to pack
He still looks at her
She still looks at a guy
Memories they share
But no more than a Hi
He feels its over
She's smiling back faced
He just wants to hold her
Memories erased
He doesn't look back
She turns her head
Two lives, different track
His love left unfed
He did want her
She always loved him
He wasn't sure
she always looked at them
HE walked far away
She regrets what's lost
He found a better day
He, she shouldn't have tossed
She cries now
He remembers and wishes
She doesn't know how
Her love was all his riches
She just never said
He goes back again
His love in her head
She meets an old friend
Eye to eye at last
Rekindling the unforgettable past
