Beheaded Prize

by Eden   Jun 5, 2005

Earth-bought into unbidden rubble
Trapped inside humanity's bubble.
Anything other than to be twisted and lost...
To save your own life at whatever the cost.
Depraved and wanton of unearthly things
To deaf or dumb to hear hell's chimes ring...
...Calling each and every person...
To be the exquisitely modeled new puppet version.
A pandemonium etched to long survive...
Beginning to scavenge and then fiercely thrive.
Twigs of born refuse are scraping your face
As you run blindly in your bloodied black lace.
Acid rain falling upon your dead skin...
...Just stop breathing...You'll never win.
I get what I want, and I crave YOU...
...I'll make your golden scars bleed anew.
Plead for my mercy; receive only fury...
...You still think to escape...just as long as you hurry.
But now that I hold you with my clammy grasp...
...So sudden your screams come with a wheezing rasp.
Bend to my gaze and kneel at my palm...
...Your life settling down with so quiet a qualm.
Leadened weight in limbs asunder...
...hear my laughter play frollic with thunder.
You are my prey that must be given...
...So sinful and so lusciously forbidden......
