Holding Hands

by Cara McTired   Jun 6, 2005

Your hand is warm
Big, and feels right,
In my own small hand,
That you told so tight,
These our my happiest moments,
Even if we don’t kiss
When of let go of my hand
That feeling I miss…

So innocent and daring,
We’re both wordlessly sharing this
Feeling,
For reassurance you squeeze,
I lightly laugh, take my hand
Back and tease
“I love you” you say
Take my hand back and go on
With a seemingly short say
I smile and blush
Holding hands was just too much.

Who says you can’t have a good relationship without sex. I’m perfectly happy holding hands.
