Die To Me, Oh God

by Eden   Jun 7, 2005

Dear God come save this town...
...Before us all...descend on down
Receive the wholeness that humanity brings...
You knew it once...but death; it stings.

Dear God...you will not come...
Not when Armageddon's yet to begin.
See the flowing tears of man
You created...and belittled to ban.

See the flowing crimson tide
See? Our mouths are open wide
Sinister thoughts swirl deep inside...
In every tear the mormons cried.

Dear God turn your palms straight down
Drop your son and die with us
No you will not do a thing
To save us from this depth.

Create the blockage of the mind
Sorrow billowing in from behind
Behind the police...and see through TV...
By Plastic and Metal our hearts are sheathed.

Dear God...we beseech you...
Come save us.
I mock your drawling height.
Come and strike me down with lightning...
...Because I speak truth...you smite.

Smiling is fake among the weak.
A smile is flaunting among the victiorous.
Which are you? That you should decide our fate?
My life is my own...and not your estate.

Dear God...just leave me alone.
Leave my room and leave me to darkness.
Die on your tree once more...this tree...
Die once more and again...to me.
