U Make Me

by Richard Alan   Jun 7, 2005

"You Make Me"

You make me want to write,

Every word there is to speak,

You make me want more days,

Than just seven in a week,

For on every extra day,

I would go that extra mile,

To be continually blessed,

Just to get to see you smile,

Which makes me want to smile,

Even though I hate my own,

And that’s why I don’t mind,

That we’re always on the phone,

Because when I talk to you,

Its so hard to try and hide,

The smile that I hate,

And I always keep inside,

You make me want perfection,

Cause that’s what I found in you,

"You are the summit of the word"

If you only really knew,

And not that you remember,

But that line I’ve used before,

It’s just everyday I see you,

It’s apparent more and more,

You make me want the sky,

When I look up at the stars,

For their beauty is the closest,

That could ever come to ours,

You make me want this life,

More than I ever have before,

To simply be for you,

What you would always want and more,

For nothing else is true,

If on this I am a miss,

When *Someday* I get you,

It could not be even "Bliss"

As a word that could describe,

Just how I'll really feel,

"Because how do you explain"

"A dream that’s somehow real?"
