Stephanie we miss you
you were so young
got hit by a car on a rainy night
when we heard our hearts stung
begged it wasn't true
why, why you
always with that giant smile
you could tell it was you from a mile
you were so sweet so king and generous
you loved kids and your friends
nobody ever met someone like you
I'm not lying, this is true
you were a beautiful girl
you had a lot going for you
so much you could have done with your life
but instead a car had to hit you that night
we found out on April fools
we all thought it was a joke
but when everyone is crying
you forget about the lying
home room was hard and lasted forever
it was the longest days of our lives
you were in all my classes
you were so smart
the time came for the funeral
so Manny people arrived
the whole church was filled
so Manny tears were shed
the memorial at school was beautiful
pictures of you when you were young
we all knew you were beautiful
ever since your life begun
but now your life has ended
and you joined the angels in the sky
we all hope that your happy
and wish you didn't die
i know you want us to be strong
and try not to cry
but the one thing that we will always grieve
is that we couldn't say good by
