Tangled And Trapped

Once again I am falling down
Once again I am hitting the ground
Hello despair and goodbye all hope
Give me some pills, please hand me that rope

Tear it apart, and I hang by a thread
Spinning around the pain in my head
Goodbye tomorrow, well hello today
Words have no meaning, there’s nothing to say

Syllables tangle the thoughts in my mind
They’re weaving ahead; words follow behind
Racing around the track’s lucid flow
With no way of stopping and nowhere to go

Grey hues appear, and silence the motion
The sky is now reeling, circling my emotion
And as the ground, transcends to the sky
I let my mind rest; for it’s today I must die

My failing voice is lurched back into life
I beg to be saved from the pain that is rife
I plead to be saved, whilst I tie my own noose
Suffocating inside for the threads are too loose

Crying away my invisible sins
The tears tie knots, outside and within
Tangled and trapped, in their merciless flow
I’m held by these thoughts; they wont let me go
