Her pain

by Broken Angel   Jun 14, 2005

All alone she sits and tries to cry
She stares off into space for hours on end
But for some reason she cannot force one single tear
Lately silence seems to be her only friend

She lays on the floor staring into a mirror
Trying to see what others say they see
But the only thing that comes to her mind is
Could this sad sight really be me?

As she rocks back and forth on her floor
Thinking of her every imperfection
Trying to figure out what others really see
Looking into the mirror she is desperately trying to make a connection

From her secret hiding place
She pulls out her treasure chest
She opens the tiny box
She's about to do what she does best

She thinks of the one person
who has tried to help her stop time and time again
She has told her how bad cutting is
She has dramatically pointed out its very sin

She cant find a reason to listen this time
She uncovers her fragile wrist
As she pulls the blade near
She frantically injects deep slits

Blood dripping from her 60 deep red wounds
She feels a single tear roll down as she screams
She has waited for this feeling for so long
She has waited for her pain to be free
