Fake

by Broken Angel   Aug 1, 2005

She waked up at 5:30 every morning
She washes her dyed blonde hair
Weighs herself to make sure shes still considered thin
She slowly wipes off the mirror as it begins

Everything she See's is fake
The smile across her face...fake
Loads of make-up put on her face
her artificial beauty...fake

Her room is all pink, walls filled with models
She looks at them everyday wishing to be like that
She does not realize no one can be like that...its all fake

The world she lives in is fake
Happiness in her life comes with a price tag
Perfection is in her grasp yet falling through the lies
Her life in the palm of her hands is now fading away

Good poem! I can relate to it - it's like you just described one of my very good friends.
