Question

Sun shines through
burning my soul
melting it into
the broken floor board

My eyes fade into
the stars as they set
with the black velvet they
lay upon

Wandering eyes
search for answers
between trees and
the oceans waves
as they crash
taking over me
pulling me in
down to the bottomless
pit of nothingness.

A bit like an acid trip
I crash into you
with elegance and grace
tripping into your arms
as they cut into my skin
soaking my blood
bleeding on your shirt.

The sun fades
the night is not ready
to come out yet
and i stand here
wondering what the hell i am doing here.
