You're My Best Friend

You were the light of my life
The ink to my pen
You were gone at the age of just ten
Now I'm lost and broken
Maybe you really are in a better place
But now my heart has an empty space
In my head I still see your face
At night I lie in bed
And sometimes I cry myself to sleep
Noone can ever take your place
Because like I said before
You were the light of my life,
The ink to my pen
You were my best friend
