One Day

There were things I kept a secret
Things I was afraid to say
I never had the chance
Until you came to me that day

You asked me if I loved you
And I wondered if you cared
I didn't want to look like a fool
With the things I was about to share

I decided to keep it to myself
And simply told you 'I don't know'
For there would eventually come a day
When all of my feelings will show
