Lies

My secret place,
To hide my face.

The place i go,
To arrange my heart,
I lie alone,
And fall apart.

I cry my heart out,
Till nothing's left,
No more tears,
I think of death.

Take the blade,
Slice the skin,
Realize,
This is a sin.

Feel like crying,
But there's no more tears,
Slowly dying,
With all of my fears.

I see my life flash before me,
Freezing on an image of you,
The reason this happened,
The reason i'm through.

I see the blood flow around me,
Feel the warmth of my life,
I think about what i've done,
And i glance at the knife.

It reminds me of you,
My murderer, my friend,
I close my eyes tightly,
And wait for the end.

Fading quickly,
I see you walk through the door,
You asked what had happened,
Because you weren't sure.

I told you i was sorry,
But i couldn't take the pain,
I reached out my hand,
And whispered your name.

You took me in your arms,
And began to cry,
You told me you loved me,
And to please not die.

I took your hand,
And looked into your eyes,
And with my final breath,
I simply said "lies".......
