Forever ?

" Forever "

Forever, a word meaning ever lasting.
The word will live on long after we're gone.
How long will we be around to use it?
The world dies each day,
and with our help
it will never rise again.
Soon only the words on
our tombstones shall live on.

    I really like this piece.
    The tombstone is a powerful image; I think of one that says the word forever on it. Your vague points are yet very specific, making your message obvious.

    Hello Tom Thank you for the comments on my poems..I Think we both write in the same style.. to the point... I enjoyed reading the poems I could get to.. Unfortunatlly at at work i can not look at any poems that are in the love section.. LOL anything with the word love is blocked out..
