Mona Lisa (sonnet)

Mona Lisa Smile
You are so happy
Your soul is filled with glee
In your shoes I’d walk a mile

To experience this smile
That spreads across thee…
ARE you filled with glee?
Or faking it all the while?

You smile, but are it fake?
Do you wear a disguise?
Just for others sake
I look into your eyes…

This smile is a mistake.
For through the window I see lies
