The strongest one I'll ever know
The bravest one I'll ever know
Faces the world with a painted smile
and pushes her fear aside
She does the best she can to make ends meet
while trying to please everyone else
She works hard, long hours for low pay
and doesn't say a word
Knowing her voice will never be heard
She is looked down on as a statistic in this world
Just another stupid seventeen year old girl
but to me she is more
she is my rock, and my shield
the only person I can always come to
The one who loves me unconditionally, no matter what stupid things I do
She has dealt with pain i'll never know, and yet she still somehow manages to put on a good face for me and my brother
She manages to take care of me and put up with me, and help me through all my pain
The strongest one I know, is my mom
