When we were younger

Remember when we were younger?
Everything was so easy
We didn't need boys to make us happy
In fact, they had cooties
We didn't have to worry about broken hearts
just broken toys, that could be replaced
We didn't have to worry about looking good
We'd end up jumping in a puddle of mud anyways
We didn't know of all the bad things that surrounded us everyday
We thought that bad guys were only on T.v.
We didn't have to worry about fitting in and being popular
If all else failed, we had Mr. Teddy
We didn't have to worry about peer pressure
Our only worries were not being last to the playground and being the rotten egg.
When we got hurt it wasn't cause ewe got called a bad name
It was from when we fell playing that silly hide and go seek game
Life was so much easier when we had no worries
and we were just little kids
Those are the days i wish i could go back to and re-live
