The Nightmare

As everything turns to a blur
And nothing is for sure
Trying to hold on to something
But there is nothing

You're spinning around and around
Not hearing any sound
Trying so hard not to let go
Holding everything that you know

Every time you lay down
you're in this nightmare all around
You try to stay awake
So you wont be taken away

You tell the night mare to fade away
But it always comes back the next day
You try to hold on
but you can only for so long

This nightmare holds your hand
And pulls you into the sand
Deep under the ground
Where you can't move around

You think you know what to do to stay away from this dream
But nothing is what they seem
I think I know the answer
To stay away from the nightmare

Let the bad float away
Hold the good so it will stay
So you will have everything you need
Now you can succeed

Try not to remember the nightmare
Because now you don't have to be scared
Every time you dream
You can sleep peacefully

So let it go
And keep what you will always know
Now the nightmare disappear
It will never be back here
