Forgotten Sinner

by angelcakes649   Jun 19, 2005

I cry out for salvation yet my cries go unheard,
No one listens to those God has forsaken,
The sinners who’ve had their vision blurred

To you I am an outcast,
One to hate and loathe and fear,
Because instead I cry blood and broken shards of glass.

Instead of hope I have fears,
And fears turn into hate,
I feed off my disgust of myself, the words that seem to sear.

The torture in my mind continues to sing,
“You’re worthless, you’re no one, and you don’t deserve my time”,
A life of nothing becomes a life for nothing.

Arms scabbing and raw,
Scars that will never ever fade,
A mind that has forgotten God's law

I am a sinner, I am an outcast, I am a life beyond repair,
Yet none of this matters,
No one seems to care.
