I'm sure she's in heaven

by A.Hill   Jun 19, 2005

I wish I could be there to hold you,
to wipe away your tears.
I wish I could be there to comfort you,
to ease away your fears.
And until tomorrow,
We'll remember today.
I know you are sad,
because she passed away.

My shoulder is here,
if you want to cry.
And you have every reason
to ask the Lord 'why?'
But remember that death,
is only a resurrection.
And it's OK
to question God's selection.
And because I'm your friend,
And I love you with all my heart.
This is a long road for you and your family,
Maybe this is where it starts.
And when you need to stop,
and when you wish it would just end,
Lean on me for support,
And I'll help you begin again.

It's hard to say
A teary good-bye.
And you say you're OK,
But you break down and cry.
I'll cry with you,
And still wipe your eye
My shoulder is here,
When you need to cry.
