Passage Of Despair

by Corneleus   Jun 19, 2005

Passage of Despair

My sweet forbidden love
How I savor the words you speak, and grace of your motions
How I confide in you

Eternal is my struggle for your love
Finding my only comforts, and yet all pains, in this secret affair
That only I am truly a part of
It is only I who burns on these flames
That keep me so deliciously weak

Quietly now I weep at my ghastly silhouette
Realizing that my own demise
Has been brought from this love

What mortality of dreams!
How they do so torment my mind
For love is to be shared!
Not locked in the catacombs of ones heart

Please, I beg of you now!
Unravel this web of endless infatuation that entangles me so
Find one trace of reason in the flesh and sinew of my body
Oh Merciful God, relinquish this pain!

I wait….always I wait….
No answer……no reply……

So now I say, farewell unto all
For this ancient pain that is love
Has driven me into the hellfire
To which I cannot escape
And has left me stranded in a passage of despair

I now empty this happy chamber
In hopes that this tragedy may relinquish all pains
Return all that was lost

May you too find love
A tear falls….
