I watch them play the game I love

by Pyrovengance   Jun 20, 2005

I feel lost and forgotten,
thrown off to the side.
I watch them play the game I love,
as dust blows in my eyes.

Maybe I'm not good enough,
Do they think that I don't care?
I watch them play the game I love
as wind blows through my hair.

My confidence is slipping,
It seems I cannot proove myself.
I watch them play they game I love while sitting on the bench.

My attitude is sour,
My anger now has grown.
I watch them play the game I love
while sitting all alone.

What will it take to show them
how much it means to me,
And how much I love playing ball
against all those other teams.

I could give so much more
to help out my team,
but to watch them play the game I love,
Is what my coaches want it seems.

this is just a really quick one I wrote on my way home from the softball tournament today.......It's not that good, but i decided to post it anyways.
