What i Never Got

I never knew your secrets,
i never knew your middle name,
i never got inside your head
but i'll never be the same.

i never saw your caring face
i never got to hear your voice
i never got to hold your hand
but our friendship i'll rejoice.

i have the support from far away
i have a shoulder for me to cry
i have some one whom i can trust
i have a friend for life.
