Balance

by Unseen Exposure   Jun 20, 2005

Balance proclaimed itself to the loudest bidder as the cowardice took pause
Stagnant bodies waited in denial without ever quite knowing the cause
Breathing was coincidental a midst the bellows made by foolish lungs
Now the pain can find us, now that the bursting blood bell has been rung

You morons speak of anger when you do not know its true meaning
You seem to find the most peace inside when your walls and white and beaming
Tell that to those who suffer within dark grasps and frozen silent bones
Given one chance to fail in context as you turn your back from the unknown

Speak words of wisdom, convince us that you fathom what we mumble
And when night falls upon you be careful not to lie in and crumble
Do not speak of all the truths that you assume will never lie
Do not bring up the hopes in those that thrust off pain behind the eye

Pretending to sympathize, acting as though you've been down the path
Will not protect the ones you know from the unbeatable wrath
For it makes no difference how you approach the bloodshot faces
The cowardice will leave the stand of hate and balance speaks disgraces

So take your silent bow and fold up your hands to make the cheer
But without warning he will flee as the chaos strikes his bleeding ears
Bloody tongues and swollen throats will never find their way through
So balance covers what phrases and meaningless typo's can't undo.
