An Illness

by Christopher Cole   Jun 20, 2005

A runny nose,
then a cough,
that turns into a sneeze.
Your temperature rises,
a long light headness comes upon,
with a weakness of no strength.
Cold chills tremble down your body,
while your head is stomped up,
then your chest starts to ache.
You feel very cold,
and very hot,
it's the fever.
Pain is traveling through your body,
with nothing much to do,
the medication is no longer helping.
This is when you know,
that you have an illness.
