A liquidation of her soul

by FlowerThatDied   Jun 21, 2005

Back to the present she has tried to get,
But her past is one she cannot forget,
Because it still haunts her nights,
She wants to cry in broad daylight,
Wants someone to notice how she feels,
But she tells no-one it's concealed,

In her dream she remembers her past, her nightmare,
Scared they'll come true but no-one would care,
Is this nightmare scaring her too much?,
Are her wounds too bloody to touch?,
While she questions herself,
All her boyfriend thinks of is himself,

He'll soon forget her exsistence,
Thoughts will be dense,
Because now she lays on the floor,
Shes tried to kill herself like she did before,
Has she suceeded? no-one knows,
Until someone finds her...
Or does no-one know?

She lays there all in black,
Hoping her boyfriend will learn what he lacks,
A love which can never die,
But one that now cannot survive,
A liquidation of her soul,
And she feels it as her body goes cold,
The love once known doesn't exsist,
And her diary will not consist,
She had the biggest heart,
But her boyfriend has torn it apart,

This little girl did survive,
And she thanks the lord,
I know she just couldn't see,
I know this because that girl is me
