Loser

by A.Hill   Jun 21, 2005

Fighting so hard to breathe,
As he tightens his grip.
Feel the blood in my mouth,
From the blow on my lip.
The man i onced loved
Is hurting me, causing me harm.
Can't you see the bruises,
All aligned down my arm?
He's not only hurting me,
But hurting our unborn child.
I seen his evil side,
Whenever he smiled.
"You're hurting me!
Let me go!
I'm calling the cops!
I hope you know!"
But as I said this,
He hit me again.
Pain surging through,
But I rise just then.
I refuse to let him see
That he is stronger than me.
I refuse to be knocked down,
I refuse to kill my baby.
And then I hear a noise,
Help has arrived.
The police broke the door down,
And I let out a sigh.
They look at me,
And quickly handcuff my abuser.
My baby doesn't need
A father who's a loser.
