THEY SAY

by Richard Alan   Jun 22, 2005

"They Say"

They say that every cloud,

At least everyone that’s Grey,

Has a Silver lining,

Or at least that’s what they say,

They say don’t judge a book,

Or at least not by its cover,

You might not see it now,

But there’s more you could discover,

They say it’s good to look,

Or at least before you leap,

Knowing your prepared,

Would be the benefit you reap,

They say those that forget,

Will be doomed to soon repeat,

So learn from your mistakes,

And that end you’ll never meet,

They say that all wounds heal,

Or at least they will with time,

And that one will be true,

On the day that you are mine,

They say some things in life,

Will be worth it for the wait,

So know that I’ll be here,

Because meeting you was fate!
