A Fathers "Love"

by Alicia   Jun 23, 2005

A bottle of vodka sits on the floor
He drank it all, yet he still wants more
5 years old, she lays in bed
He cant remember a word she said
He stumbles to the bed, drunk as fcuk
hoping to give her some of his "love"
Her brother breaks in, so strong and wise
He has come to save her, to save her life
He puts her somewhere safe,
and trys to clean up the mess.
He calls the police, trying to deal with the stress
To many parties, to many times
His dad almost died, from corona and a lime.

The 5 year old girl, so fun and innocent
No longer allowed to see her dad,
his mistakes become her punishment.
11 years go by, not a call or a letter.
He wont let her in, he thinks its better..

He taught me one thing,
I will never forget.
How to down a bottle of vodka,
and make many regrets.
This curse that you gave me,
has caused me such pain.
Your little girl has a problem,
you should feel ashamed
