At One Point In Time

by Gabby   Oct 23, 2003

At one point in time you laughed with all others.
You were close to me, and as good as a brother.
Your smile was cherished by all who saw,
As you loved to watch the many birds caw.

At one point in time you cried and were sad.
It only happened when things got too bad.
You were brave and stood tall,
Even though you were so small.

At one point in time people gathered around.
We knew you were special by just one sound.
You were a bundle of joy and loved life to it's fullest.
You showed people life can be great, even though they were cruelest.

At one point in time you got taken away.
You joined all the angels in just one day.
All through that time we cried out in tears.
Although now we know we should have no fears.

At one point in time you showed up at heaven's gate.
We will meet you there, it will be our fate.
To eat we'll have a buffet in the sky.
We'll be there with God as time passes by.

At one point in time we'll be together again.
Can't wait to see you my brother, and friend.
As everyone knows, it's a better place.
As we look down from heaven throughout all of our days.

This poem is dedicated to Joseph Anthony Rondeau. Who passed away on 8/22/03 at the age of five years old. My friend, my brother, and now my angel. I love you baby boy! I miss you so very much, but this poem comes from the heart, and I know we will be together again: At One Point In Time!!!
