Daddy

by Cara   Jun 24, 2005

I think that the reason you really haven’t left is because of me. It would break my heart to see you walk out of my life. You have always been here for me.

When I was little and I would have bad dreams I would run out in the living room and tell you I would crawl up and sit on your lap until I was asleep and you would carry me back to my room.
When I didn’t know how to tie my shoes you would do it for me. We would always spend late nights out in the garage. You taught me how to drive my car.

You were there at the hospital when Trent died every time I would come out of his room you were there so that I could cry in your arms
You taught me that nobody’s messes with daddy little girl.

You have so much more too teach me and I hope that you stick around at least till I’m all grown up. You’re the only Dad I’ve ever had I think the reason you haven’t left is because of me.
